John Anzalone is one of the nation’s top political strategists. With more than 25 years of experience he most recently served as chief pollster and senior strategist for President-elect Joe Biden. John started his political career as one of the first staffers in Iowa for Biden’s 1987 presidential campaign and has had a relationship with him and his family for three decades.

This marks his fourth presidential campaign, after having polled for both Barack Obama (2008 & 2012) and Hillary Clinton (2016). In addition to his work on presidential campaigns, John served as the pollster to numerous senators, members of congress, and mayors. Notably, he serves as a top adviser to Governor Roy Cooper of North Carolina, Governor Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan, and Governor John Bel Edwards of Louisiana. In the corporate realm, John has helped Fortune 500 companies with data driven corporate strategy,  messaging and branding.

He currently serves as a strategic consultant and impact advisor for multiple corporations and trade associations. He serves as the pollster for Senator Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island and works for Leader Chuck Schumer’s Senate Majority PAC. He also works for Congressman Pete Aguilar, #3 in House Leadership. John specializes in offering guidance on maneuvering in turbulent political environments, changing marketplaces and cultural dynamics.
